Winter comes to the mountain
Here in the high country of Arizona, winter finally arrived on March 11. Up to that point in time, my Zuni Lane home received one inch of snow and three inches of rain. The earth mother decided to teach us some humility, so she waited until everyone had packed all of their winter clothes and equipment away and then unleased 50 inches of snow in two days upon the land. Had to shovel my way to the store room to retrieve me winter dudes.
Damn, I love a good storm.
